How to Install Dropbox on Ubuntu, Centos?

Download the dropbox installer as per your environment

https://www.dropbox.com/install

sudo yum localinstall nautilus-dropbox-2015.10.28-1.fedora.x86_64.rpm

Search for Dropbox icon and select, it will redirect you to the login page of Dropbox, login with your account credentials

Yipppeee installation is complete, now you will find your Dropbox directory – /home/Dropbox

You Follow This method as well.

Download and extracting the Dropbox setup
64-bit:

cd ~ && wget -O - "https://www.dropbox.com/download?plat=lnx.x86_64" | tar xzf -

To link the account run this script

~/.dropbox-dist/dropboxd

This will redirect to login page, enter your credentials.
Will find your dropbox directory – /home/Dropbox

How do I Change account on Linux Dropbox?
Kill all the Dropbox process

killall dropbox

Change or delete the existing Dropbox Directory, other vise it will conflict

cd /home

mv Dropbox Dropbox_backup

Now run the script for re-link the new account

~/.dropbox-dist/dropboxd

It will ask to re-link again.

Check Dropbox status

dropbox status

Create share link

dropbox sharelink file

Stop Dropbox service

dropbox stop

Start the Dropbox services

dropbox start
